The tragedy is that even after the huge russian successes of ‘brexit’ and the 2016 presidential election, the West has been unable to force an end to this kind of manipulation of the treasure of our societies, namely the public discourse. The strike will be labeled differently in both Ukrainian and Russian propaganda, with certain objective truths being either obscured or emphasized, then painted over to create a narrative.
