After seeing the recent map claiming 91m as the mean elevation for Cyprus, I decided to check. The data suggests it's closer to 300m. This map also breaks it down by district. Tool is QGIS, data from JAXA, function is "zonal statistics"

Why is Kyrenia all the way to the left
