Firstly sorry if I’m not writing in english but you can answer in french, we got pretty the same dictionary so I can read or listen it just I’m not able to write in french.
Initially I looked for Austria, you know I’m livining so close to them but..yay! So now I’m looking for Provence.
Firstly I don’t want buy an house but doing [WWOOF](https://wwoof.net/)(Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms) for not more than 3 months. Actually I two options really similar: one is Provence, is inspiring me ’cause it’s outside my town but still close; 2) Chianti that’s in Italy but is really similar to Provence.
I’m just looking for the best option…if I will choose Provence I will need to learn french but as italian will be pretty easy due to our similitudes.
For the city I’m looking for something like a city not big but still not a village..Grasse for example(i’m living a Schio and that’s pretty what’s I searching).

Chianti similar to Provence? Ma vedrai, sinceramente!
I’ve lived for years in Siena and it is absolutely not similar to Provence. Except maybe the weather. The Toscani have absolutely not similare to the Provençaux. Personally, I would choose the Chianti region in a heartbeat, because people are generally nicer there and it’s generally better if you want a quiet life in the countryside.
As far as I know, lots of Italians live in Provence, so you will have no problem finding people to help you.
