  8. It’s the ultimate billionaire brag. Anybody can get a yacht or an island or dinner with a celebrity. The Forbes list is one thing, bragging about your actual income via disclosing your taxes is baller. I wish more billionaires followed suit.

  30. He’s been saying this for about 6 years now. Believe he said something along the lines of “the most patriotic thing I can think of doing as a billionaire is taking out my pen and writing my check to the IRS for what I owe them every year.”

  31. If he paid $300 million in taxes he made $1.5 billion. Probably more. Why would you be upset about that?

  33. I heard one of his yachts was named after an Ayn Rand book but after the pandemic he has moved away from full on libertarianism and more altruistic and centrist. If he is looking towards 2028, might be a good move IMO.

    True story: Had a job interview where the CEO asked me to quote Rand. Shook their hand and walked out.

  36. We need to praise and normalize this practice so the billionaires will get into a dick swinging contest of who pays more in taxes each year. They have had it for too long the biggest dick was who paid the least in taxes.
