  1. From the article:

The House bills are expected to pass the Senate this week, something Zelenskyy specifically urged.

“We really need to get this to the final point. We need to get approved by the Senate,” he said Sunday.

“Then we want to help get things as fast as possible so that we get some tangible assistance for the soldiers on the frontline as soon as possible — not in another six months — so that they would be able to move ahead,” he added.

Sen Rand (Putin) Paul (R. Ken) has already said he will do everything in ~~his~~ Putin’s power to hold this up.

  2. Ok, then tomorrow it’ll be more crying about the next billions

  3. It’s a great day to be an artillery manufacturer for the US military! But, I’m glad that we finally got this aid through the House. It shouldn’t have taken 6 months.

  4. You think they’ll build a gold statue of Biden in Kiev like Kosovo did for Clinton?

  5. Isn’t the tik tok ban included in the foreign aid bill?
All i am saying is the senate might try to remove that from the bill and send it back to the house which could cause significant delay perhaps

  6. There be a lot of Freedom landing on Putin’s front door.

  7. “I am very displeased with Agent
Marge Greene. She failed.” – Vladimir Putin.

  8. I think it’s really optimistic on his part. It will help, probably a lot. But i don’t see Ukraine winning, in the long run, without something more.
Like a coup. A coup would help!

  9. I hope every Putin supporter sees this and feels defeat.

Go back to your own country.

    Edit: needed to clarify

  10. Maybe I am wrong, but when the US offers AID they send weapons not cash.

Isn’t that something that benefits the USA more than Ukraine?

They will get new stock that can be stored and checked again.

  11. Fantasy. More ukraines will die for nothing. Correction so usa wepon manufacturing companies get even richer….lol

  12. The bot farms are in overdrive today. You can tell Russia is very angry and very, very afraid at the same time.

  13. I just hope it’s enough to help and gets there in time to prevent worsening of the situation.

Apologies to Ukraine that some of the Republicans in Congress are such shit human beings.

  14. So glad that got passed. I was really worried the GOP would stop it. Thank God for the defense industry lobby.

  15. These weapons are also older 80s-90s tech that is reaching the end of their shelf life. The weapons are literally going to be useless in a few years anyway. We are sending older tech that will get into good use in Ukraine, it defends Ukraine’s territory, the US’ current stock gets replenished with new equipment, and we weaken Russia which is the biggest threat to humanity right now. It’s a win win at all sides

  16. I his victory comes to pass and I hope it does, then I do not want to hear a peep out of the 112 house R’s that voted against the aid package and in fact held it up for 6 months to do Putin’s bidding. Not a peep.

  17. It never ceases to amaze me when Ukraine is brought up, so many people talk about how we should let them handle their own problems and how “muh tax dollers can only be spent in the US”. I understand that we DO have a lot of problems, and that more can be done domestically when it comes to funding. But these same people oppose any social spending anyway, and even infrastructure improvements are political now.

But I don’t understand how the party of “Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall” seems to miss the issue of letting Russia go unchecked. Not to mention, we’ve always gone out of our way to protect our allies. It’s unpopular to say on Reddit and nothing is ever black and white, but I really believe that the US are typically the ‘good guys’ even if sometimes misguided. The implications of letting Ukraine be eaten by Russia are far greater than the money we are sending.

  18. He’s bluffing. Only till he needs the next aid package.

I’d rather we give them what they need to outright win the war instead of allowing this trickle down war of attrition.

  19. Que the delicious Russian freakout. I’m sure it’ll be two nanoseconds before we see the “costing Ukrainian lives” “supporting terrorism” and somehow roping Taiwan in to Russian histrionics.
