This seems like really low number. At least there are a few hundred k going home to overwhelm their health service and cause general havoc in the country, hopefully bringing Putin down along with the sinking ship.
I’ve seen a lot of comments on these in which people criticize the low number, but they need to know that the death count is low because this isn’t an estimate, this is only counting confirmed deaths by name. BBC/Mediazona’s separate count for the estimated total death count is approaching 90,000, which they consider to be a conservative figure.
On another issue, you can also see that the confirmed deaths drop off as it gets to the present day. this is not due to any change in the battlefield or an improvement in Russian losses, it is simply due to the fact that the more recent deaths have not been confirmed yet.
Wait until the they scrape up all the bodies in fields, buildings, and trenches. Russians put very little effort in collecting bodies.
