  1. Clear pictures. Someone will dob them in soon enough. Absolutely horrible people.

  2. They have done this multiple times in a few restaurants and a nail salon local to me.
    They are travellers.

  3. Looks like she does a lot of dining and not enough dashing.

  4. Judging by the size of them they probably can’t afford to pay for the amount of food they shovel down

  5. It’s stealing and isn’t acceptable. However I think that publishing CCTV footage and trial by social media isn’t the way to go about it.

  6. Does make me wonder why restaurants don’t charge upfront nowadays to avoid this.

I went to Toby Carvery today and it was fairly busy, but we didn’t seem to have a dedicated server, and by that I mean, we kept having to ask as people were being served before us and paid/left before us (even though we were waiting longer).

By the time it we were ready to pay, my wife and daughter went to the car and I waited. Took a very long time but I could have just easily walked out without anyone even seeing.

But that being said, I imagine a lot of people have done so, as after I had paid, I noticed something wrong on the bill and as they charged a carvery for our 2 year old but she just had some food from our plates. The manager who came over to do the refund looked sort of fed up and just accepted giving the refund without any hesitation

  7. Do as you likeys by the looks if it.
Everybody knows that the laws and rules don’t apply to them….

  8. What would be the appropriate punishment, here?

I’m all for – two years in jail for all the adults (reduced to six months if they pay triple damages to restaurant). The further year and a half will be under parole – any offense will result in serving a full two years in jail. And no govt. assistance for any of them for five years.

  9. In the least rude way, they’re always so butters lol

  10. Now we will see small groups like this ruining eating out for the rest of us. We are already seeing anti-shoplifting measures being stepped up in shops. Now we will see anti-dine and dash measures in restaurants.

  11. Shouldn’t be posting this online they’ll feel harassed

  12. Stop calling it dine and dash and call it what it is – thievery.

  13. The fact that the bill was only £329 after apparently 15 bottles of pop, very expensive steaks and deserts for all of them is insane. I was kind of expecting something in the thousands range honestly.

    They’ll get caught anyway.

  14. I hope they get caught. Disgusting that they think this is acceptable.

  15. Quite impressive to pull off a “dine and dash” when you look like you wouldn’t make it through the first day of couch to 5k.

  16. Hopefully we’re their faces shared around the area businesses can just start refusing to serve the cheap wankers.

  17. I mean £329 for 8 people is pretty reasonable restaurant prices tbh especially given they drunk 15 bottles of coke or whatever rather than just tap water.

It’s only £40 a go. Place sounds like a bargain if the food is good.
