They got everything they asked for regarding the border deal, and still declined.
Blame Trump. The senate package could have easily been sold to the public as a Republican win.
Edit: but also yeah, she’s no grand strategist.
They had a deal ready to be voted on and passed that gave them most of what they wanted regarding border security funding and they sunk it because Trump told them to.
So now they get none of what they wanted on the border and the foreign aid passed without them.
This is what happens when you refuse to do your jobs and actually try and find compromise.
Blame the man at the top. It was Trump all the way.
At this point the charitable interpretation of MTG is that she’s a Russian plant. Otherwise the only other possible conclusion is that she is a strategically brainless ideologue willing to sink the GOP majority for the sake of her ego, or in layman’s terms, a fucking idiot.
