I have to use Euston to visit my parents and family, and every time I prepare for the worst. Fully-charged phone, powerpack, etc etc. I never assume now that the journey will happen, to dampen the disappointment. I wait until we pull out of Northampton station before letting them know what time I need picking up at. Saves them the hassle of repeated angry updates from me. I thought it was just me on an unlucky run as I only go back every month or two.
