Carvahal will continue to do this until the day he retires. But I don’t blame him. Infact, I envy him. It’s the job of the refrees to stop these things from happening. If you allow players to get away with things, they will absolutely test their luck. Doku got away with a silly and dangerous challenge on McAllister as well.
The only two players from Man City to have figured him out are Jack and Bernado. Carvahal would get equal resistance and shithousing from them when he tries this nonsense. Other Man City players have to catch upto them because the referees will not change.
This is what they’ve been calling “pocketing”. Defenders grabbing our players for dear life, hoping refs don’t call a foul.
