“Don’t worry, Danish F-16s for Ukraine will definitely be provided. This is Denmark’s entire fleet that is currently being phased out of service as we receive the new generation of F-35 jets,” Denmark’s Ambassador to Ukraine, Ole Egberg Mikkelsen, confirmed.

I hope they and the other European NATO members who are donating their F-16 before their original planned phase out date get either rushed F-35 deliveries or nice customer service discounts courtesy of the state department. If we relocate the Vt NG F-35 squadron and that nice F-22 group that has issues with the weather in Florida it could also maybe speed things up by making the Europeans feel more comfy.

  3. Im sure they will be used agains waves of drones first . No need to be on the front line. Get some hours and drone kills first for the pilots.

    As a dane i can only say i wish the training started sooner than later.

    But we was the first country to pledge f16s and train pilots, so give us some slack. We doing our best and i can say with garantie. First set of pilots have been trained,

    Considering the amount of daily devastation that ruzzia is inflicting on Ukraine, telling Ukrainian people “don’t worry”, is rather useless.

    It’s a little bit too late for that, now it’s a question of how much longer thousands of Ukrainian people will be able to stay alive?
