My sister and I went on a 10 day roadtrip around Scotland. We drove over 1500 miles, had 3 ferry rides, and rode two trains. We met so many wonderful people, had great food and drink. We had so much fun learning about your rich history and viewing the lush landscapes. Picking out stories and pictures of Flora MacDonald in the most random places and trying to spot remnants of the Vikings. We’re already planning our return trip!

In case anyone is wondering, this is the route and cities we stayed in. But there were many stops in between.

Glasgow -> Edinburgh -> Oban-> Mallaig -> Dunvegan -> Stornoway -> Loch Locky (Invergloy) -> Oban -> Glasgow

  1. Looks like an amazing trip… You’ve been to parts of my own country that I haven’t!

  2. Yeah I did that then bought a house here and moved. Best thing ever.
