1. A Peruvian psychologist who suffered from an incurable disease that weakened her muscles and had her confined to her bed for several years, died by euthanasia, her lawyer said Monday, becoming the first person in the country to obtain the right to die with medical assistance.
   Ana Estrada fought for years in Peruvian courts for the right to die with dignity, and became a celebrity in the conservative country where euthanasia and assisted suicide are illegal.

2. Actually, I never knew that Maine or Spain granted physician-assisted suicide.

3. When I first heard the word “euthanasia” I thought people were saying “youth in Asia” and I wondered why people wanted to kill them. I can’t tell you how stupid I felt…

4. To this day, I am still convinced that close to 100% of the people opposed to medically assisted dying are so because of religious beliefs.

5. Sad to hear about Ana Estrada. More power to people choosing their end. Religion shouldn’t dictate life and death decisions

   People deserve the right to die with dignity
   and not be forced to suffer for years on end.

7. As a kid, I had no idea why people were so uncomfortable and upset over youth in asia.

8. Every human being should have the right to end their suffering and die with dignity. It should not even be a discussion. It should be highly regulated as everything health related but it should be legal.
