How bad is littering in your city?

  1. I live near a large forest and “fly tipping” (basically dumping loads of trash) is depressingly frequent. The town itself is fairly clean though.

  2. I’m from Sicily, let’s just say that the only reason I was sure this picture couldn’t be from here is that the streets on the left look too clean

  3. Our pupils strangely prefer spending a lunch break each week picking up litter, over not littering in the first place. The bottle deposit I find in the school’s garden alone pays half of our coffee.

  4. Rural town in Denmark and we use the shovel method.

If the dog owner does not pick up the shit we use the shovel to hit the dog owner with.

  5. In Finland it is proportional to the amount of drunks. You can check famous Mc Donald’s in Helsinki post somewhere in this sub.

  6. It exists but you barely notice it. They usually collect the trash instead and then burn it. Used to warm up buildings instead of just lying about, so makes it a lot cleaner. Even import some trash too last i heard

  7. Munich is pretty clean tbh. some corners of the city less than others though. but overall it’s pretty alright.

  8. Add a ton of mud, parked cars everywhere, a few splattered, rotting dog/cat corpses and a bit more litter and you have a picture of the average Bulgarian town.

  9. I live in a relatively small town (60.000 ppl) in Central Italy on the Adriatic coast, the streets are so clean here that you’d feel bad to litter, seriously if I have something to throw away I take it with me home.

  10. It’s more of a country-wide problem. I can’t see a dirty street under a grey sky without associating it immediately with France
