müller has been my favourite since i became a bayern fan 9 years ago but i’m not afraid to say that he wasn’t great against union. not even average tbh. misplaced some simple passes, and made some basic errors. union actually got a pretty dangerous counter off a basic 5 yard pass on the flank to kimmich which he misplaced by a good distance. also the team doesn’t seem to understand him anymore which is what he needs to thrive. it’s obvious when he makes one pass but the player supposed to receive it runs in the other direction, or he makes the run which is the opposite of what the passer is thinking of. best to take him out instead of teaching the team how to play with him. great brace though with a typical muller goal.
I wonder what expectations Tuchel has for Müller 🤔 Playing Müller has its downsides (occasionally makes major errors, not proactive on the counter), but at times our offense was completely stalled until he came in.
I do think Müller would be a small minus against madrid, unless they are playing with low block and looking to counter attack
It’s okay we will need him off the bench when it matters.
We need Kane to act as a battering ram and Musiala to drive past defenders.
The real question would be the wings. Without Gnabry and Coman we are gonna need Sane to create mismatches.
But the Real wings are better than Arsenal’s so we really need to lock it down. Guerreiro and Maz worked, we can try that. Don’t know if Davies has the heart to play against his future club. But idk maybe this is the audition. If he plays well we can demand 50M
Midfield, Tuchel will go with Goretzka and Laimer you know it lol
I think at this point Tuchel is going with the best player combinations rather than just the best players individually (which is why Dier and De Ligt start the big matches). Maybe even Pavlovic won’t start because Laimer and Goretzka are doing OK in the midfield, despite Pavlovic being a better 6 than either of them. While it’s questionable, I think it’s the correct approach, but who knows, if there are changes in the starting XI (as compared to Arsenal) it will be most likely due to a tactical adaptation in order to deal with Vinicius (maybe double fullback again and makeshift back 5 in defense, but now on the right flank, to help Kimmich), or something like it.
Guessing we will lose then.

Literally my favorite human to wear a Bayern Jersey… I know he makes mistakes sometimes but I feel like the pros outweigh the cons… maybe I’m just a defensive fan for my favorite player but this really makes me dislike Tuchel even more.
