soo…even when they protest at the right places they get punished. having her license suspended for protesting against the destruction of the planet at the place where they are doing the destroying is mind boggling. our right to protest is being slowly eroded then.
She failed to answer bail was her issue, not the protesting. Her arrests were for the protesting but the imprisonment is for the flagrant and scant disregard of the courts bail ruling.
The courts of law don’t like it when they give people the chance of freedom with promise to appear and then don’t. That in itself is an offence.
The protesting alone would likely have gotten a slap on the wrist given her sound character as a prior doctor.
