#ReadingRussia The Russian press has turned on US House Speaker Mike Johnson with insults such as “total scatterbrain”, “brainwashed” & “the look of a traitor.” Which shows that House approval of the $61bn aid package for Ukraine has struck a raw nerve in Moscow. Steve Rosenberg for BBC News

  1. I would add that “the look of a traitor” implies someone working for you

  2. **Their usual strategy:** spew as much poop schizo stuff into the public so theres an overabundance of conspiracy theories and everyone will get tired of arguing.

  3. If you’re hated by Russia, means you’re doing something right.

  4. God I really hate the ruzzian language now, it is so off-putting

If you’re Russian and you oppose the bullshit, learn Ukrainian in defiance.

  5. Johnson is an asshole, a GOP cunt through and through, and I’ll never like him. But he showed some actual political acumen getting this vote through the way it did, and that’s better than I’ve seen from the GOP in years.

  6. Traitor? To russia? lol. I’m not going to sing Johnson’s praises, but he’s not a russian citizen.

  7. I will always upvote Steve Rosenberg, he is a national treasure. It’s kind of amazing that a BBC journalist is still allowed to live in Moscow and report from inside Russia.

  8. It’s always good news when the Russian press is pissed

  9. The last one must be tough for Tankies to swallow as ” the total defeat of the Ukrainian army” is something the Russian army cannot achieve with their current tech and supply chains.

  10. When the Kremlin is angry, that’s when you know you are doing something right.

That place of full of stupid and delusional liars, war criminals and murderers. And Russia is terrorist state.

  11. So they admit they meddled in american internal politics?

  12. Worth to mention, article in second newspaper is in section called “Anger of the day”. Hilarious

  13. Never thought I would see the day where I see a bunch of europeans simping for Johnson.

  14. Its actually hilarious to see how all the “American patriots” with Russian IP addresses cope so hard about this on social media. They seem to be falling back on the “Russia is holding back on Ukraine” narrative. Fuck them.

  15. So now we know definitely that he did something good….

  16. CIA most likely found some skeletons into Moscow Mike’s locker and made him an offer he could not refuse 🙂

  17. I’m still surprised each time Rosenberg reports from Russia that he’s able to do so without falling from a window.
