  1. Can we get a 2016 do over where Trump loses and the world is in a much better place 8 years later?

  2. I may be mistaken, but Pecker basically entirely confirmed the conspiracy to affect the election. The relevant law:

    >Election Law 17-152 prohibits conspiracies to promote a candidate’s election through unlawful means.

Since he was falsifying paperwork to make these payments, he was part of a conspiracy to promote his election using unlawful means. That makes the falsified documents felonious.

If Pecker’s testimony is viewed as truthful, this pretty much does it.

  3. It’s not a hush money trial. It’s a felony election interference conspiracy trial.

  4. “Drop bombshell about the 2016 election… And not a single Trumpublican cared.”

  5. Basically, Donald Trump could not have won in 2016 without endless help from dozens of shady corners. When some of those players didn’t participate in 2020, Trump lost.

  6. “Hush money” and “drops bombshell.” God I hate media headlines these days.

  7. I can’t wait for Ted Cruz to take to his podcast and Twitter to defend Donald Trump’s right to pay tabloid owners to publish salacious rumors about Cruz and his family.

  8. Wow, checks out of all check outs that can happen.

Dude actually contributed to 2016 election interference, lost 2020, so he accused the other side of what he did 4 years earlier…..

    Wow……

  9. The really interesting dynamic is that if Trump doesn’t take the stand to refute any of the charges all these witnesses are going to make against him, it’ll all just stand as uncontested fact.

Which further motivates Trump to violate the gag order as it’s his only way to try to let the jurors hear his lies.

  10. Once again, Trump is all about projection. He’s been screaming about election fraud for the last 8 years, and someone just described (under oath) how Trump committed election fraud

  11. I wish I had a hardworking Pecker for my PR work ….

  12. Ronan Farrow, I hope you’re reading this and feeling vindicated for your work.

  13. If anyone had a real case to dispute the election it would have been Hillary. Russians using online propaganda? Real and proven. Complicity by Trumps campaign staff. Real. Proven.

Now this jerk. Yet more evidence of a conspiracy to destabilize our government and put a clown in power.

  14. Best outcome outside of jail time would be that the traitors in the gop (and fox) smell weakness and shit stained diapers and dump him.
    Wishful thinking?

  15. The witness is the second most relevant Pecker in the room

  16. Its infuriating how cut and dry this is and to know that there will be on Maga idiot who hangs this jury.

  17. Wow if what I’m reading was said is true, I think it’s already over.

If Trump is convicted I’m pretty sure it’s basically suicide for the election. Trump is already downward trending in the polls and what like 5-10% of conservative ‘undecided’ voters said if Trump is convicted of anything they won’t be voting for him? Which is brutal.

I’m not going to celebrate until the jury comes back with a guilty verdict and it’s official but that is damning already.

  18. Soooo

Is anything actually gonna happen if he gets found guilty of all this stuff? I’m not really convinced anything short of him sitting in a jail cell is going to really affect the election.

Maybe I’m cynical, but his supporters are fanatics. They don’t care about any of this and idk if I trust the median voter to vote for Biden because “well… the economy was better under Trump”

  19. All of his “the media” attacks were simply projection, as is most of the crap he complains about.

  20. It’s nice to know, from someone testifying under oath, that he and Trump made a deal where his magazine would build him up while smearing one opponent at a time, on short notice, with fake news. That this is the kind of candidate he was.

  21. Yeah, all those protesters outside are getting riled up…. oh yeah there aren’t any

  22. Today’s testimony shows just how sleazy Trump was, and is, throughout his political life. It gives people, even his supporters, a chance to see Trump as he really is and not how he wants them to see him. This trial is pointing out, all too clearly, that he is the epitome of dirty politics – something he would probably consider a compliment.

  23. The stupidest part about all of this is that Trump is too stupid to know that had he just dropped off a bag of cash to Daniels he wouldn’t be here.

  24. The more that comes out the worse it gets. America dodged a bullet. Will it be smart enough to not do something stupid again.
