Israel pulls troops out of southern Gaza as Netanyahu says nearing victory • FRANCE 24 English

prime minister B Netanyahu is saying
Israel is now just one step away from
Victory so he’s certainly not presenting
the withdrawal of the 98th division
that’s about 10,000 men uh from Southern
Gaza as a step back from the conflict
certainly not as a reaction to to us
pressure what the uh the Israelis are
saying and you mentioned there the IDF
statement uh is that they’ve achieved
what they set out to achieve in Kan
yunas in their intelligent Gathering
operations have been completed their
military ground operations have been
completed as far as they are concerned
hamas’s KH Yunis uh Brigade has been
dismantled therefore there is no further
need for them to be there in the
meantime what that does they say is it
allows uh that the population of KH
yunes which is one of the biggest uh
cities in the Gaza Strip displaced to
Rafa in the South to return to their
houses in Kan yunas which in turn makes
it easier for the Israelis looking
forward if they decide to launch an
offensive against the town of Rafa on
the border with with Egypt something
they’ve been threatening to do but which
the Americans have been asking them not
to do so as far as the Israelis are are
concerned not a step back but perhaps a
preparation for something else and in
that context it’s interesting that
they’re preparing to send a further
three divisions uh that’s about 30
40,000 men to the edge of the uh the
Gaza Strip on the Israeli side
obviously and ceasefire talks seem to be
moving forward uh incrementally with the
talks expected in Cairo today tell us
more about
that yeah it’s interesting these talks
are taking place at a pretty high level
given the fact that there’s not an awful
op lot of optimism around at the moment
but the pressure certainly on Israel
from the United States with Joe Biden
saying he wants an immediate ceasefire
and from the Israeli population
demanding either or the both that
Benyamin Netanyahu should go and that
more should be done to prioritize the
release of hostages from uh the Gaza
Strip you know the context is there the
pressure is certainly there on the
Israeli side uh many Israelis accuse the
government of of not putting enough
weight behind the negotiating team uh uh
trying trying to limit the amount of
Freedom they have to negotiate with
Hamas uh but the delegation that there
is there from the United States uh the
chief of the CIA William Burns from uh
qat the ruler of Qatar the head of
Egyptian intelligence and a Hamas
delegation in Cairo as well suggests
that a lot of pressure is being put on
internationally to try and get something
to to happen this time round it is
unlikely that it will happen Hamas for
its part is saying first of all
something to happen the Israelis have to
agree to a complete ceasefire they also
have to withdraw all their troops out of
the Gaza
Strip and they have to allow for the
return of Palestinians who have been
forced out of Northern Gaza Israel
describes those terms as delusional but
the fact perhaps that Israel has
withdrawn some of its troops today from
Gaza may make it possible to get some
shift forward

Israel on Sunday pulled troops out of southern Gaza, including from the city of Khan Younis, the military said, after months of fierce fighting with Hamas militants left the area devastated. Despite the withdrawal of the military’s 98th division comprised of some 10,000 men, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Israel is “one step away from victory” in the Gaza war. 1. If victory is still tied to violent superiority, this will lead to a greater despair to come,

To those who are willing to listen in Judea, do not go out in protest or hobby; and flee to the people who do not practice war in body or word, these storms are almost over, but you will not be spared from the worst these storms have to bring, by going out now, in face of the storm

  2. Israel lost by default, the reputation is dead,Israel can't even pull on USA's skirt no more, absolutely rogue idiotic fascist regime

  3. Hamas killed more than 14 IDF soldiers. Why kinda victory is that? What proof do they have that they've dismantled Hamas in Khan Younis?

  4. What should be Irans response?? STRONG DETERRENT!! The IAEA report highlights several areas where Iran has failed to meet its commitments. The report emphasizes that: Iran's stockpile of enriched uranium continues to increase, although the amount of uranium enriched up to 90percent purity has slightly declined. Date:2 April 2024 Answer: From Lt.Gen PAK ARMY punjab division. When I go to my Texas (Fort Worth-Ranch) holiday home … most of my American neighbours carry Ar-15s … I carry FGM-148 Javelin (PAK Edition) for my personal protection. Nuclear weapons are still here—and they're still an existential risk. Nine countries possess nuclear weapons: the United States, Russia, France, China, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, India, ISRAEL (look at that name again), and North Korea… IRAN 🇮🇷 needs to prove to the world they belong on that list!! When was the last time “ISRAEL” declared “WAR” on that list???????????
