  1. What a sadistic piece of vile scum. While he got an increased sentence, it’s still not long enough.

  2. What an absolute scumbag. Fair play to the judge for increasing the sentence.

  3. Fairly decent sentence all things considered but the animal should never see the light of day.

  4. 13 years is still too lenient for destroying a child’s life.

  5. Serves that perverted bastard right. Well done Court of Appeal

  6. I’d say bring back the guillotine but y’all ain’t had that, so I reckon we outa get an irish death penalty sorta thing going until the next generations don’t have to worry bout fucktards

  7. Why the fuck do we keep reading about cases like this ?? Sickening in the extreme. Sentencing reform is definitely needed- sentences aren’t fit for purpose anymore.

  8. And to add insult to injury, if he behaves himself inside, he’ll be out within 10 years.

  9. This guy used to regularly visit schools, my own primary school included, across Longford, about 25 years ago. He was one of the designated GAA coaches. I remember him telling us that his sister lived in America and knew The Rock. We thought that was class until one of the other coaches told us he was full of shit. He used to work for the Longford Leader as the sports photographer back in the day.

  10. Fucking monster. Every rapist deserves to be sent down for life and we know the reasons that never happens, but surely in this case an exception could be made? The emails and the way he continued to harass and stalk him is fucking shocking!

  11. I’m not an advocate for the death penalty but all the same, I don’t want this cunt being in our streets but I also don’t want my taxes keeping him alive.

I think in cases where there is solid evidence of crimes this perverse, after a 5 year period a death penalty should be considered. I understand it’s flawed and controversial but no way should this cunt ever see the light of day again.

  12. This is why the death penalty should be brought back. This f*#ker needs to be burned at the stake

  13. Should be on par with murder. Nothing short of life is enough.

  14. Wonder what it was made him become involved in children’s sport?

  15. He tracked the kid down as an adult and told him “this will never be over until one of us is dead”!!!! Holy shit.

The judge who gave this guy 9 years should probably be removed as a judge. 13 years is still not enough.

  16. 13 still seems way too short. For once, they should have handed down a stronger sentence

  17. fucks sake. 13 years is too lenient for such a monster.

  18. Can we get all the people serving sentences for abusing drugs out and triple the sentences for these scumbags who abuse children instead.

  19. An utter psychopath. He should never see the light of day again. That poor kid.

  20. Is there any vetting done by the GAA? I always see a lot of men casually wearing the junior team coach kit even when they are out and about. And I think it’s weird.

  21. An increased sentence? Must have been judge naloN? Still needs to be longer tho.

  22. 13 years still seems a little lenient. Especially for a crime like rape.

I think that there really needs to be sentencing reform for certain crimes.

  23. I hear Judge Nolan had to be restrained by a straitjacket before he could burst into the court and suspend his sentence
