I read a news article recently about a conservative MP in Devon 'allegedly' (anyone could have done it) buying the domain names of his opposition and forwarding them to his campaign website.

Decided to take a look at the London Mayoral candidates and it appears that the same thing happened pretty quickly after the news story with domains forwarded to either the Russian gov's English language site or the conservative candidate:
Rob Blackie (Liberal Democrats)
- robblackie.uk > Russian Gov
- robblackie.london > Russian Gov
Nick Scanlon (Britian First):
- NickScanlon.co.uk > Russian Gov
- NickScanlon.uk > Russian Gov
- NickScanlon.london > Russian Gov
Amy Gallagher (Social Democratic Party)
- amygallagher.co.uk > Russian Gov
- amygallagher.uk > Russian Gov
- amygallagher.london > Russian Gov
Howard Cox (Reform UK)
- howardcox.london > Russian Gov

Big stretch insinuating the Lib Dems are Russian puppets
It might be worth reporting this to nominet who administer the `.uk` TLD, they can refer the complaint to the relevant body and is it’s found to be illegal (I have no idea on what grounds though), they can at least remove the `*.uk` ones
