This is what should be making the headlines and repeated in the news, the amount of money this corrupt government have wasted. Their partying is trivial compared to this.
Reminds me of an old boss I had.
One day, our admin assistant – who did all the ordering – went to lunch and never came back.
Bit weird. Anyway, boss left us to pick up the mess left behind, we got into his files to find every time we ordered a bunch of kit (usually 20-30 laptops or desktops at a time) he would stick a few extra on there, or some expensive peripherals. Stuff that we never saw arrive at the office.
He was ordering stuff and pawning or selling it himself. Of the orders we could see going back about 18 months, there was £10k of stuff gone missing. Obvious fraud.
HR investigated and found he’d been using a fake name. His pay went into an account in a woman’s name (no idea what happened with that) and his address didn’t exist.
The boss just wrote off the losses. Apparently “after writing off against depreciation”, “it wouldn’t cost us that much anyway”. We didn’t understand why he wasn’t fussed about this.
Then we realised – he’d signed everything off, including the goods received notes. If he pushed to recover the losses, it would be his job on the line.
Also the “Eat out to help out” scheme which caused a spike in infections and put people at risk
Rishi is a complete joke. He just open the coffers for fraudsters. Weak and no measures.
The incompetence and theft that happened on his watch far out strips Brown’s selling off of gold. Of course, you won’t hear that repeated in the papers or that selling the gold actually had a purpose of thean theft and fraud.
“Oh, i didnt know anything about the PPE fiasco.”
Course you didnt. You were just in charge of the money. How silly of us. The fact we even have a billionaire in the cabinet is insult, in the first place. Now you’re adding injury to insult.
Can’t help but feel Councils have to take some responsibility. A lot of them had the attitude that it wasn’t their money so quite a few didn’t bother doing any checks at all.
Imagine the efforts they would go to if this money was benefits erroneously handed out.
The same guy who won’t take responsibility for his own office upping national insurance? Fat chance.
He has…and ditched it.
It’s a signal to other tories of what they can expect if they commit fraud with our money…and they’ll love him for it.
Lol imagine what people don’t see, politics is too corrupt I don’t care about it anymore it’s just sad 😔
yeah the cornerstone of this administration has been “taking responsibility”
Rishi smearing Boris, Boris smearing Rishi.
It’s all out civil war in Toryland.
You might say he’s done something diabolical up a wall.
He’s a billionaire, and billionaires are not accountable.

Hes going to take responsibility in the form of be rewarded by becoming the next PM
Tories don’t take responsibility. Instead we can just raise taxes on workers to make up for the money that has been lost.
Here is the article written by Lord Agnew for the Financial Times last night:
