Passed the sign for it on the way to Dublin at the weekend and seen the Irish government are putting a few € towards doing it up.
Was wondering was anybody visited it saying as there’s a bank holiday each year celebrating the battle and is it any good?

I’ve been once when I was in the area. There’s a small museum/exhibit and nice grounds. It’s worth a visit if you’re close by and interested but I wouldn’t bother going out of your way for it.
A grubby foreign battle
I went a while back when visiting Newgrange, as it was only down the road.
Thought it was fairly interesting (as a Catholic), to see and find out a bit more about the history of it all.
The bonus was that it was the first Wednesday of the month, so OPW had free entry to the exhibits.
I would probably go again tbh, especially if I’ve friends visiting from abroad again and have time to swing by it after Newgrange.
Also if you haven’t yet visited Newgrange, I’d strongly recommend it!
When’s this image from, the 90s?
