We don’t want clubs or dancing , we just want nice beer gardens.
‘Craze’
So for all the ones who don’t work? That’s it. Let’s reward them with a club. This country and its initiatives make my head hurt.
They must have thrown a serious amount of tickets and freebies to the media for this. It has been pushed by Lovin’ and Joe (Greencastle) as well as 98FM and Today FM (Bauer), along with many other accounts on social media. It’s certainly getting traction!
Can’t wait for the article in 2 months time sayings it’s closed down
I saw this and thought it was a good idea until I saw it runs from 5pm-9pm. I may be old but I’m not going out in town until at least after nine
Anyone have any recommendation for late night drink in Dublin that has an older crowd. Somewhere that will still let you in after 1am
My back hurts.
‘Craze’. Do people actually sit down and type Lovin Dublin articles or is it AI generated garbage?
I blame LD for the current ‘best in Dublin’ shite that’s floating around social media. It’s a fucking burger/pint/sausage roll.
Love the idea but can’t help but think the music will be shite
This is a good idea and works well in Spain. They call it ‘tardeo’ there. You can go out, enjoy yourself and still be up and at it at a reasonable time the next day. It also makes going out on a Sunday an option.
Another benefit is being able to go out before town gets messier and more dangerous.
5-9 is a bit risky, I know I’d be likely to be well oiled by then and just end up staying out the whole night.
If they did it from 12-4 or something like that then there’s be a better chance of heading home and getting a good sleep, I fear this will just lead to a longer session for most.
The only affordable house in Ireland.
Can we have an over 50s one too so I can not go to that one too?
This is common enough in the UK, I came across a club day in Newcastle once. Places open at noon and close at 10 or 11pm. It means you can go out, have your session and dance and still have time to get food while public transport is still operating fully. Go home and still get up at a reasonable time the next morning.

Fuckin hell, since when did 30 become old, when I was 30 most clubbers that age were out Friday to Sunday, no sleep and on the yokes
Anyone else find people in their 30’s going on like they’re 80 or something, really annoying? Im 38 and married with kids and i’ve never went home at 10 from an (admittedly rare, these days) night out in my life.
If i’m out, im out. I’d rather stay in than go home that early, would seem pointless to me, especially when i get out a lot more rarely than i did in my 20’s. Have to get the full value out of it.
What’s their yokes policy
You’re a liar!!!!!
Daycare for adults 👏
It’ll be full of absolute melts

I wanna rock and roll, and part of every day. I can’t party every day I have errands to run

Daytime clubbing, worse than no clubbing…
Clubbing for people who get up early in the morning. I can’t imagine anything worse than being in a club surrounded by Fine Gael voters.

Dancing on lunchbreak will require extra cocaine
I will speak on behalf of all Irish 30 year olds.
