Hello guys!
I’m looking for some great Bigilla on Malta. I’m not an expert but I’m sure there must be a lot of secret locations (no fancy restaurants), where especially the locals buy their real Bigilla (if they don’t make it by themselves). I would like to buy some during my next Malta visit (Valletta, but I have a car) and eat it with some great Maltese bread. I’ve heard about some [Bigilla vans](https://www.amaltesepantry.com/people/here-comes-the-bigilla-van/) as well but I can’t find any information about where and when to find them exactly.
Thanks a lot for every tip!

Either the bigilla van (but I can never figure out where they are) or from authentic village restaurants. The United restaurant in Mgarr (the one next to the football ground not the one behind the church) make really authentic bigilla and arjoli (I call it the ‘whatever is in the fridge’ dip) and to my knowledge, they come for free when ordering the fried rabbit, together with crusty Maltese bread and olives.
Not a van but the bigilla at spar is the best bigilla I’ve ever had. The regular not the spicy one.
