I will say, it’s rather funny/validating seeing this happen. I had been wondering how they were going to make these things work, always figured it’s be something rigged up like this. You’re basically make the place a partial-glass cockpit by offloading everything to the iPad. Done very frequently in general aviation, though generally just navigation
I bet theirs came with the calculator app.

Almost all pilots from Cessna 172s to Boeing 737s run Foreflight on an iPad anyway. This makes perfect sense on these old aircraft and are, in fact, major upgrades on their old systems.
