  2. FF and FG do this regularly. Their brain-dead policies create a crisis and have no solutions, so they just change the language around it instead. Same with homeless definitions. 

  3. Got quoted for an affordable mid Terrance 2 bedroom 1 hour outside of cork city recently starting at €350,000 lol

  4. Have a look at the affordable housing scheme. The government puts up 25%, IIRC, and the starting price of the houses is 250,000, in Waterford anyway.

  5. “Here’s your affordable housing, that’ll be 370K for a house, your maximum allowed combined mortgage is 180K, have fun” – the government.

  6. Yep I’m single and saving for a house (like a moron)
    I earn to little to afford a mortgage for an affordable house , yet too much for a council house .

    I cant even dream of an actual house from the market .
