I assume… and it’s probably a good bet… that there are plenty of US personnel monitoring the use of these systems, simply so we can gauge effectiveness and begin developing features to make ATACMS more effective.
I wonder if the RFA will start pulling aircraft back from airbases within ATACMS range, both in occupied UKR and southern Russia. IMHO, it’s stupid for NATO/US to say, “here’s ATACMS, but don’t use it against bases in Russia”.
This is war; the end goal is to defeat your enemy as fast as possible.

Those things look like short and fat, angry, pointy Vienna Sausages… sweaty and out of breath from working so hard to turn themselves upwards to the stratosphere, they glide back to the ground before executing a blubbering pirouette and throwing hundreds of little exploding freedom pies all over the place.
Question. What if Ukraine built munitions factories in NATO countries close to Ukraine. What if Ukraine built military research and development factories in NATO countries close to Ukraine. Ruzzia couldn’t attack the factories without attacking NATO and escalating the conflict. Ukraine’s production would be safe from attack. A plausible idea?
