Just to be clear I don’t have an issue with this womans sentence her actions have consequences.
However I don’t get Nolans complete inconsistency with sentences and why he is so determined to defend (if that is the right word) or be extra lenient to peados and rapists but yet imposes sentences sometimes heavy sentences (man who imported garlic for ex) on non sexual crimes.
Any sane person would assume the sexual crimes should be handed heavy sentences. 2 years for welfare fraud but suspended sentence for SA? It’s fucked up he needs to be investigated ASAP.
I don’t understand this, how is it not 140,000 worth of fraud? The 40,000 in benefits for the child are not valid because that child should never have been a citizen in the first place because this lady is not a legitimate asylum seeker and lied her way in. This woman and her family should be entitled to a grand total of 0 euro. Also is she getting deported immediately after back to Nigeria with her whole family or at least her husband? Why are they all still here? The regularisation of long term undocumented migrants scheme is a pathetic joke and any other legislation that actively puts an expiry on a crime for that matter. I dont care if they illegally came into the country 2 minutes ago or 20 years they should be turfed out and if they don’t give up their home country they should be put in prison. There has to be a disincentive to attempt to sneak in or to come in legally and not leave when your time has expired.
