  7. Parachute payments are more like a bungee cord. Just keep pulling the same teams back up again and again and to hell with the rest.

    Goes down after the worst case of underperformance I’ve ever seen. Keeps their entire squad minus a few players, and gamble breaching the leagues rules in an attempt to get promoted straight away. Not fair on the other teams in the Championship and I wish deductions happened this season instead.

    The Championship has rules this club has breached on purpose. They shouldn’t be allowed to be promoted at the expense of another club off the back of cheating.

    Edit: for those downvoting, do you think it’s right that Leeds and Ipswich, neither of which have cheated, one of them will have to go to the play offs as they’ve lost out to a Leicester team that has?
