months these commanders have been
attacking Russian soldiers with robotic
Vehicles this is one of their latest
models a miniature robot that lays
landmines close to enemy
trenches if a soldier tries to lay a
land mine less than 100 meters away from
an enemy position it means certain death
but this robot is discreet it’s hidden
by the grass the Russians can’t see
it only a few weeks ago the same model
was used to lay explosives next to a
Russian Trench without being
spotted it laid two explosive charges
next to the enemy positions look it lays
them it’s impossible to do without
robots nowadays all soldiers have heat
vision goggles and
binoculars they’re always observing the
front
line some models can even be used to
evacuate wounded soldiers from the front
line but for now at least the Ukrainian
Army is still desperately short supplied

Drones already fill the skies over Ukraine, but now robots are starting to crowd the frontlines. The Ukrainian military is increasingly turning to unmanned robotic vehicles to avoid having to send soldiers into harm’s way. They’re used to deploy landmines and even fire on enemy troops, as Andrew Hilliar reports.
