  10. If Barr really believes this, it would make sense that he’d still vote for Trump. He thinks it could happen to himself, and he’s a massive coward. He should read up on his history though, groveling back to Trump isn’t going to save him.

  11. In one of the debates against Hilary, Trump complimented China for how they handled the Tiananmen Square massacre! This is who the guy is. He said China almost screwed up (so in his mind not running over people with tanks would’ve been screwing up) but then they “responded with strength” or some shit like that. And this isn’t even a new view that Trump just spat out in the moment, he had voiced this opinion in the media in 90s. This is who he is. A spoiled rich kid who has never told no, equally as cruel as he is stupid, with no morals or compassion, who somehow gets rewarded more and more the more extreme his verbal diarrhea becomes. Think of a topic and he has the worst opinion on it. Think of a problem and he has the worst answer for it. Think of a moronic belief and he holds it.

    Of course a ghoul like Barr would still vote for him.

    Ok, so per Bill Barr himself, the safety valve of Trump’s murderous outbursts was people talking him down, and functional institutions that honor their responsibility to the principles of the country over short-term political expediency.

    So if he was surrounded by a handful of power-hungry sycophants (say, like an executive-branch plan for Project 2025), isolated from everyone else, and made to believe that everyone outside of his ring was out to get him, necessitating a first strike against rivals as his mental state erodes and paranoia increasingly creeps in, that’d be ok?

    A man so desperate to save his own skin that he would do anything to avoid accountability?

    And all of those institutions, carefully pumped full of ideological supplicants, ready to twist and sabotage the mechanisms of government if it clashes with their marching orders, will help stop those orders?

    Take a step back and look at where we are right now.
