I have the vague impression that there’s a lót of orc-money sloshing around in the pockets of the olympic committee.
I’m in favour of Russia being barred from the Olympics but not for these reasons. It seems like Russia pays/funds its athletes via the military. Picking on the athletes individually for not getting themselves arrested/suicided for dissent is a bit harsh. They are training in the gym, not fighting Ukrainians. I’d say only the one who went to Crimea has done much individually. The problem is the regime and the reason to ban is that it upsets Russians not to be “world players”, plus the rampant doping.
No Russian athletes! Not in Olympics, Not in NHL Not in any sporting event outside of Russia. Respect Ukraine and every country presently fighting alongside Ukraine.
Russia is a Terrorist state, that’s it. Stay in Russia, the world does not need you all

If they said Russians not being able to Olympics is unfair,
just remember the Ukrainian athletes who can’t participate due to being heavily injured or killed because of the Russian invasion.
