Israeli student stopped at UK airport, questioned over role in the IDF

1. Someone got stopped at border control and asked a few question by anti terrorism. What’s the big deal? They’re coming from a country that is committing a genocide and taking settlements from innocent people, killed many journalist, killed aid workers…regardless of what their stance is on the matter individually, Israel have painted their country in a bad light and now their civilians will be impacted.

   Just for reference I’ve got a brown face and an Arabic name, I’m half British, born and raised here, was in the army for a few years too and I’ve been stopped at border control many times before and asked the same thing because of my appearance and name. It is what it is.

2. Every uk citizen enlisting in the idf should be getting prosecuted.

   So… He was in military intelligence for a country whose military is accused of dozens of different war crimes?

   Expect to be questioned.

4. Good, we shouldnt allow terrorists into the country.

5. Good, we should not be allowing British citizens to fight for them either. Same as Russia, ISIS etc.
