  1. French. So I can understand my girlfriend and proceed to ignore her.

  2. I am on a 17 day streak for Greek now, 3 and a half month to go until I am going to Greece.

  3. Is “gråter” the word for crying? If so then that’s pretty interesting because there is a Scots word “greetin” which means the same thing.

  4. German, French would be more useful to me since I have French in-laws, but then I’d have to learn French.

  5. This is a very common phrase one can hear 24/7 in Norway. Good job on Duolingo’s end teaching it to foreigners!

  6. Spanish and italian, it helps a lot that the languages have a fair bit of similarities

  7. About to finish up the Ukrainian course on Duolingo.

Debating whether I’ll go for Polish or Finnish next, because I deeply hate myself.

  8. I need to learn Spanish as I have Spanish friends now…

So I’ve decided to learn French as that’s close enough for them to understand me I’m sure :’)

  9. Я учу русский язык, чтобы оскорблять русских на их языке

(I learn Russian, to insult Russians in their own language)

  10. Estou aprendendo o português brasileiro há alguns meses 💪 I already speak french and english but I wanna learn a third latin language after (maybe Italian cause I despise spaniards) but I don’t know when it would be sensible to start learning it (to not mix shit up with the other latin language I’m learning)

  11. i tried czech because i, for reasons known only to god, think it is cool. i gave up because it was too hard and im currently learning italian, since it is basically just affected spanish it is much easier.

also tried french but it felt too similar to spanish when written and to english when spoken so i got bored too

  12. I study norwegian this semester… I could almost read half the sentence

  13. I’m learning English through Reddit comments.

  14. French, used to be German but I found it bloody difficult.

  15. West Vlaams

I really want to know what those mfs are on about all the time

  16. Danish but i wouldn’t consider it study, more like Duolingoing once a day xD

  17. German and Italian so I can also communicate with locals in Austrian and Italian alps just like I do in French alps.

  18. Irish (I know it cringe but I’m doing quite well). Tengo algunas palabras en espanol pero necesito practicar mas con los espanoles. Y un poco Aleman. Sorry I’m a show off lol
