Immigration reality: Economy needs workers

1. Cut welfare and we will have plenty.

2. We still need more workers with basically open borders? Holy shit it’s almost like most of the illegals are living here for free.

3. But WHERE are the shortages? Meaning in what industries? Simply allowing in anyone that wants to come doesn’t mean they are good candidates for those opportunities,

4. Or you know fix the problems of why people aren’t having kids, like cost of living being so high.

   Changing zoning laws would help a lot.

   Passing an infrastructure bill to build affordable housing (or at the very least remove the tariff on Canadian wood)

   And stopping businesses from buying up all the affordable housing too.

   This would make it so people can afford to own a house to start a family and to lower rent for those who don’t want to own. It would also create more jobs. All of which will encourage people to have more children.

   Do all of that and increase the limit of legal immigration to the US per year by a reasonable amount (so not too much or to little) and we could change the birth rates in America really really fast.

   what does this mean? ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION HAS KEPT WAGES LOWER THAN THEY OTHERWISE WOULD HAVE BEEN (!) this is fucking evil, they don’t want to say it directly so say it indirectly basically.

   the construction industry that does general contruction / even roofing has been absolutely decimated, you basically can’t compete unless you are doing bigger / more specific stuff. it wasn’t nearly as bad as this 20 years ago.

   i do love how the paradigm has changed though, like couldn’t they stop with being such blatant propaganda on how illegal immigration is a good thing?

   like we need a border, everyone understands that. lobby on increasing the number through new representatives, don’t just lie about ignoring the law when convenient, etc. (and then lying about ignoring / manipulating the current situation to allow more illegals in)

   it’s not only screwing your existing voter basee of democrat voters, but pretty much everyone involved except the companies that benefit –

   wait – those companies own congress anyways.

   so, that’s why it’s happening.
