Boris Johnson says UK will ‘contribute’ to NATO deployment if Russia invades Ukraine | Politics News

  1. Odd that the British prime minister probably wants a war to break out in Ukraine more than almost anyone else in Europe right now.

  2. I am fairly sure no one wants war in Europe. Other than that famously bi-sexual Russian leader, Vladi Put it in, and his lackey Lukashenko.

Belarus is now massing troops on the boarder with Ukraine and this is likely to be the false-flag event that tips the balance towards an incursion into Ukraine. They will probably target gas pipelines in Belarus, given the sensitivities around energy prices in Europe, and in Germany in particular. And Russia will abide by it’s CTSO obligations and in defence attack Kiev.

It is absolutely right that the UK contributes to the NATO deployment.

Many people are going to die, unless Putin backs down. Which is unlikely. Putin has managed to unite the world, a miscalculation as he more than likely expected a weakened response from the West. He’s in a corner and like many trapped thugs, he will exert his authority using violence.

But Putin’s position as imperialist tzar is not one he absolutely controls, to maintain his position he needs the support of key allies. If he loses that support he is gone. And for him that means dead. The dice he rolls is whether a gain in popularity through being the Russian strong man is enough to appease the economic hardship key oligarchs will suffer. He is playing a finely balanced game of Russian roulette.

  3. If the shit does hit the fan, what do we do with all the Russians residing in London. During the last war we shipped undesirables onto the Isle of Man, putting them behind barbed wire.

Somewhere else which doesn’t have internet facilities would be more apt.

  4. Yep Boris will send the cheese and wine now hes been told he can’t have any more parties, like he’s been telling us for the last two years the w—k-r

  5. As we should. Putin is an immediate threat to Ukraine but a long-term threat to the world. The West has placated him for years now and he is not afraid of us because we have never united against him, nor imposed any meaningful sanctions against Russia in response to his actions. We would be fools to do the same now, which means a united front and immediate action is required.

  6. And will he be branded a war criminal like Blaire or a hero? I guess we will find out in 20 years when he’s knighted and everyone moves the goal posts again…

  7. We need a general election before anything happens!

So much corruption has happened and too many election promises have been broken for this too be viable!

We need to put this back to the people, if they vote for Conservative again then fair play.

It’s also historical fact that Russia has “donated” money to the Conservative party…which is distressing, because we know now that donations to the Conservative party is cash for access.
