The tiny bit of training that soldier (if any) received..definitely did not prepare him too catch a drone dropped garage, while huddling in the fetal position, in a bombed crater, in a foreign country, in-between his vest and his rib cage, and fish that grenade out, hop out the crater, go full Rambo, single handedly defeat UA, become the sole ruler of UA, have Putin step down and raise him to Ruler of EurAsia. What a disgrace.

His front plate popped right out and landed in between the logs. It did a great job of directing the blast straight into his chest.
This type of drone warfare is actually horror movie material, at least proper drones used by the US and Israel will kill you immediately but these grenade drones just leave you like 5 seconds to be in total terror.
And in the beginning of the war they said these Ukrainian drones will never be accurate lol
How loose was his plate carrier.. I don’t think there’s any way a grenade could fall through mine, which is adjusted to properly fit me.
Well…its better to go this way than to end up with your face-off or getting slowly burnt alive…..orrrr….so many other painful ways to go that this war doesn’t stop to serving. He got off easy – just couple secs of “oh shiii” while looking for that nade and goodbye.
Not going to lie – I don’t pity the invaders. They had a choice. They don’t need to be in foreign land, taking whats not theirs. I could understand initial invading force being kept in the dark and not knowing whats going on but its been 2 years and everyone in Russia knows whats going on.
The only valid tactic still seems to be the holding your leg up and trying to kick away the grenade one….

Imagine the panic… The AR plate went careening off to the left. Literally no protection between him and the blast and I think he knew it.

It’s like when you drop your phone in the car and it always falls in the gap between the seat and the console. That’s so frustrating… well, at least it doesn’t blow up and kill you.
This looked exactly like the bomb guy from the 1st PoTC movie in the cave of cortez’ treasure.
Pineapple grenade in such close proximity he is dead already . look like he tried to catch made it worst . His buddy is just 2 meters away in next crater watched his friend’s palm fly above him
Looks like him lifting his arm (trying to bat it away?) is what deflected it behind his plate carrier. Talk about unlucky

That’s what I call unfortunate circumstances.
at least it was quick. the armor certainly ensured that he didn’t bleed out slowly from a maiming… jesus.
The soldier on the left is lucky his buddy’s parts didn’t hit him. Whatever flew past him just barely missed the guy and it didn’t look like a small piece either. The accuracy of these drops is just scary. This drone warfare is quickly becoming the shotgun in the trenches of WW1, devastating!
