Awww shame, I particularly like the idea of the ‘guess the weight of the big knob’ contest. The ‘eat as many knobs as can in 1 minute’ would be a great spectator sport too…
Here’s hoping they’ll be able to get their knobs on display once again next year!

When I went there was also a whack the knob game, basically splat the rat but with a knob.
I gobbled far too many knobs when I was there, once they have a nice thick load of cheese on them they’re amazing.
Apparently Dominic Cummings got sick of being chucked down a field.
Shame. I’ve practising a lot of knob-tossing during the pandemic. I get a session in most evenings and it is a real workout, leaving me breathless and with sore hands from all the tossing.
I’ve been training my knob eating all year, now what’ll I do… well off to train some more may as well get a head start on the competition for next year.
Look how happy that lass is tossing a knob. No wonder this festival proved to be so popular it kneaded to be cancelled.
