If we buy the r*pist I’m not watching a single game while he’s on the pitch, disguisting

  1. Yeah, I would be disgusted as well. Reserving my judgement for now but dear lord just being rumoured to want this guy is bad enough.

Club leadership has shown terrible moral fiber over the years, so I’m just hoping their obsession of making Juve a “lifestyle brand” will make them realize how unlikable this would make us to the world at large.

  2. I did not follow the whole scandal but I remember he wasn’t found guilty, why would this be a problem?

In Italy there’s players who are found guilty and are still allowed to play in Serie B, look up for Reggiana’s player Manolo Portanova. Turin’s player Demba Seck was accused by his ex- girlfriend of threatening to share private videos of her, there were rumours of Turin’s PM who was he one who had to conduct the investigations having deleted some texts from the player’s phone.

At least Greenwood had some kind of trial before getting back on the pitch, and he wasn’t found guilty.

EDIT: thanks to those who gave me more info about the whole story, didn’t know how the trial went and how it was the prosecution to drop the charges. I agree he shouldn’t become a Juve player.

  3. This ain’t happening for the following 4 reasons:
    – money as he will be a somewhat expensive signing
    – money needs to be spent on replacing Allegri
    – new midfielder (CDM) and new defender are needed
    – Juve has one of the best football team socials and this won’t help their public image in general

  4. I don’t know about the case situation because I don’t catch up with events outside the pitch a lot. But I would rather get Soulé back than signing him. He was very good at United but he’s just mid at Getafe and he’s no exception on our current wingers.

  5. Yes, a very high tiered source to be concerned about here. Your day must be really slow.
