1. The centrifugal force from the rotation of the earth will push water toward the equator. Those areas will see a bigger increase in sea level rise.

2. The fossil fuel infrastructure in Houston, TX and Louisiana are very much at risk.

3. When it gets really bad, they’ll blame scientists for not warning them, so they could have taken steps to prevent it. While ignoring scientists warning them it will get worse unless they take steps to prevent it.

4. Lucky for them, state governments can just pass laws saying that climate change isn’t real! Checkmate, physics!

5. They don’t believe in Climate Change in the South. Those damn Liberals flooded our homes!
