Mmmm Beamish. Think of the best Guinness you’ve ever had. Now make it twice as good. That’s a Beamish
anyone who buys harp no matter the price, is not wise.
I’m a bit over guinness recently. Diageo constantly price gouging is having a negative impact on pub owners and pub culture because people can’t afford to pay what they are charging. Not to mention that, despite Guinness’ marketing, it’s an English owned company.
I’d rather have a pint of something like beamish these days just to avoid enabling Diageo bollocks. That said, I’m not totally boycotting the stuff as I do love a Guinness, but I’m certainly open to alternatives where they are available.
Used to look for Beamish in pubs all the time. It runs white rings around that liquorice piss.

Beamish really is the thinking man’s pint.
