    We don’t know how much damage these polymers do to our health. But we can make significant inroads on litter and emissions to tackle this issue head-on.

  2. not reading article, but I’d say:

    1) stop all single use plastics – force / entice / fund a switch to compostables -> fund the research to keep them getting better

    2) need to stop the oil industry from pushing further and further into this space

    3) need to improve recycling, completely. stop off shoring and dumping it. it doesnt work today and maybe it never will, but something needs to be done with the plastics we have
