24. As someone raised a Catholic with a 9 year Catholic School education, I gotta agree. The fundamentalist adherence to the literal words in the Bible has caused more suffering than it has prevented. The problem is that it’s supposedly God’s word, but through oral tradition, translations and misinterpretations, it’s been twisted by man into a convenient tool for assholes to spread bullshit in God’s name.
