I left a half full bag of compost out all winter and found two slow worms in it last month when I was going to use it. Left them in peace and today I looked to see if they were still in there – they've been busy!

  1. That’s one of last years babies, they give birth to live young around august. The babies often live in ant nests as there’s lots of easy food 👍🏻

    Absolutely gorgeous though. I’m slightly envious

  2. Congratulations! They’re ovoviviparous, so basically keep their eggs inside until they hatch, then give birth to live young like your new little guy.
