  1. On a stolen E scooter as well.

Upstanding member of society this lad.

  2. > Mr Gumble, dressed in a black and pink tracksuit, has yet to indicate a plea.

Couldnt even put on a shirt. Scumbag

  3. God, this poor woman and her family.

Absolute head on him. Couldn’t even show a modicum of respect by putting on a shirt and trousers to go to court

  4. Literally a matter of time before one of these scooters caused an incident like this, some of these scooters are capable of 50kph.
How the hell are these things not being policed. Most of the idiots using them don’t even wear hi viz or a helmet and they zip on and off footpaths as they see fit.

  5. This is why we need to get the speed limit down to 19-MPH / 30-Kmh in Dublin.

  6. There are a *lot* of people on them scooters going way too fast with not a fuck in the world of hitting somebody…flying on footpaths at full speed silent as fuck.

  7. That block of houses where’s he’s from is the source of 90% of antisocial activity and crime around stoneybatter and surrounding areas of Dublin 7.

  8. I don’t see how the government can avoid throwing out the baby with the bathwater when it comes to E-scooters and other battery propelled devices.

For the 95% that will use them responsibly. They are a great addition. But there will always be the scumbags who will break the law and endanger many and won’t give up f**k about the consequences.

I regularly see imbeciles using them on footpaths at high speeds. With wheels on scooters being as small as they are one pothole or minor obstacle and they are gone. If they ended up just hurting themselves, fine that is their business. But much of the time they hurt others and screw that.

  9. Well considering you can kill whoever you want using a car and receive nothing worse than a driving disqualification, I would be surprised if any punishment is doled out here.
