The Duchess of Edinburgh (UK) has become the first member of the Royal Family to visit Ukraine since Russia’s full-scale invasion began in February 2022.

  2. The British Citizens of Northern Ireland, as Other Country’s within the Union do, stand side by side in support of the Ukrainian People.
    We admire their bravery within the fight against Russian tyranny, & are happy to see this visit, as a show of solidarity, take place.

  5. Now I have a question about safety. What’s to say the russians don’t launch some missiles there? Whether they know she or anyone else there or not, what if they simply do? So I have respect for her and good god do I have so much respect for Zelensky. Thst man visits the front lines and goes and talks with those men in the battlegrounds. So usually I feel like it’s pr with foreign leaders visiting but this one doesn’t feel that way because it’s such a dangerous time to be there and when most people go to Ukraine, they stay in Kyiv generally.
