the human cost of war is very real and I
know that everybody here feels it very
intensely I’ve been meeting with
survivors of sexual violence and the
conflict I thank them for their honesty
in telling me what happened to
them their stories are sad and I hear
many stories like theirs sadly from
around the world um but I appreciate
their time and their
openness um but I know with the help of
Survivor centers that they they will get
back on their feet and they will be able
to move forward

The Duchess of Edinburgh has become the first member of the royal family to visit Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion.

Sophie met the president and first lady of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky and Olena Zelenska, on Monday morning and delivered a message to them on behalf of the King.

They discussed how to support survivors of conflict-related sexual violence and the women peacebuilders who have a part to play in ensuring Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction is effective and long-lasting, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said.

  3. Disgrace and hypocrisy ,Ukraine has become like a barnyard for all sorts of funny visitors what the hell she 's doing in Ukraine, nobody will take any notice apart from clown's regime ,.gross attempt to colonize Ukraine It wont work, stay away from Ukraine.

  6. Time to remove the royals , this is pathetic ! What about all the civilians Ukraine abused for years ? What about Ukraines civilian kill list and there use of improvised bombs to kill them on the list ? That’s obviously terrorism but royals are so thick they don’t see that fact

  7. I have only one question about this: does she know she is being used or does she really believe in what she is being told about "Russia's atrocities"?
    Being a part of discreditation op is so low. They don't speak about Bucha, Skrypals or Boeing MH17 anymore, because time passed and no proper investigation even attempted. It is a kaleidoscope of rigged campaigns or false-flag operations made to persuade us that Russia is an evil state. But when Royals are part of it – it's really too much
