Bullshit always brought up to promote their new projects. It would only work if it takes place in a work place and she already plays an adult Regina George in the work place in the criminally ignored movie called Passion (2011)

I think if they pitched it as “Mean Soccer Moms” they’d really be onto something.
Maybe they could be the mean girl parents…new generation uses different techniques to be mean (internet/different slang, etc) and none of the original girls even realized their daughters are caught up in the mean girl scene—either the mean girls or the victims or some of both…they end up intervening or dispute among themselves about it ultimately leading to a similar meeting in the gym about how to handle things. In the end one of the girls will have a “crown moment” that brings them all together. Janis/Damien/Aaron/Principal and of course Tina Fey could all be involved somehow. I’d watch a show like this!

I absolutely adored the Walmart ad campaign. I’d love to see something like that expanded into feature length. Maybe Regina George could be the mom of the head cheerleader at the rival high school.
I think they mean making a 3rd Mean Girls Movie. Mean Girls already had a Sequel done, regardless of its quality.
I would love to see the same characters but a totally different premise. Say Cady gets hired and ends up working with her former schoolmates and dealing with her nasty bosses. Or Regina is a teacher at the old school and the others have to help her find her inner mean girl to deal with the students. Maybe still friends but one has been cheated on by her husband and they exact revenge on both him and the “plastic” mistress.
