2. Still waiting on any reports on it. Usually there are photos and videos couple of hours after, and here we have one photo from miles away, showing just red sky, and a russian report that they shot down 6 atacms.

   In the bird world, a peninsula or island in the middle of a long stretch of open water is known as a ‘migrant trap’ because birds (well, non-water birds) flying over open water see the island or peninsula as a good resting and food spot, the shortest route between two larger landmasses and all that. The result is that these areas are over-represented by both individual numbers and total species during migration. *edit: birds don’t literally get trapped, it’s an idiom not to be taken literally*
